Chapter 56: Sokens Bravery

-Soken p.o.v-

"Luna, do you sense that?"

i asked looking at my sister and she nodded

"Dont you think we should get daddy for this, it would be more appropriate"

she said nervously and i grinned as i jumped off the swing and grabbed her hand

"Dont you see, this is a time we can show dad that we can use our skills in a real battle!"

i said excitedly and Luna looked at me with shameful eyes

"Soken, your trying to catch up to him arent you?"

she said nothing else after that and i let go of her wrist while looking down

we went to the park, here, with our parents permission since mom had to take care of the baby

but ive been training hard, because of that stupid show off kurosaki

Shuuhei, everytime i see him i always want to fight him, he has no expressions!

hes 10 and hes already a high ranking officer, what makes him so powerful?!

i strive to be better than him, but everytime i catch up, it never works hes always one big step ahead of me

but i dont hate him, i just want to have the same goal and power as him

"It doesnt matter. In anyway are you supposed to talk, You have noone to-'"

i started then she gave a look

"Mommy is my idol, she always told me what Mr. Kurosaki's reason to be powerful is"

she said and i sighed anf kept walking off

"Soken, dont leave, youll get hurt!"

she screamed running to me as i looked at her

she had orange hair with two hair clips in that mom gave her and she was wearing a dress

her hair was pulled back, with her glasses in, and her bright colored eyes that were green and hazel mixed

i was the opposite from her

i had black hair with no glasses and i had short hair, with dark colored eyes

"Come with me then, you want to be as powerful as me!"

i yelled and she shook her head keeping a grip around my arm

"I just need to be strong to protect you and.."

she said before she froze in fear what i saw in front of me was a huge hollow looking at us

"My my children, what a appetizer!"

he said as he went to slam us with his fist and i lifted Luna up and ran dodging the attack

i put her down as i looked at the hollow giving a surprised look

"it seems you can see me, and you are pretty fast kid!"

he said laughing and i stared at Luna as i gestured towards a tree

"Go hide, ill fight him off!"

i said and she went and stayed quiet as i looked at the hollow

"Im a quincy, and for that, ill kill you for messing with me and my little sister!"

i said holding out my hand and my bracelet glowed and there was a blue bow in my hand

i got into position as i pulled an arrow back and aimed at him, as he laughed

"Aw, a little quincy? How adorable!"

he said and i let go and the arrow went through his leg making him yell,

he yelled out as i reloaded and he glared at me,

"Thats it little kid, ill eat you now!"

he said charging at me and as i was going to shoot he took his black tail and tripped me making me fall and he came at me

i yelled until the yelling stopped and he was groaning

"What the hell is this?!"

i looked up to see a shield above me to notice Luna put her white shield over me

"Soken, get out of there!"

she yelled as the hollow glared at her and grabbed her with his tail and she screamed

"This will be my first meal of the day i guess!"

he said as he hung her above his mouth

"Luna, Noo!!"

i screamed then in a split second i saw Luna being released, and the hollow froze

as she was about to fall i saw her being caught by a orange shield

i looked over to see my parents standing there

"mom. Dad."

i mumbled and my dad shot the hollow through the mask and he disappeared. Leaving Luna in the air

hekd by moms shield high up and my dad put his bow away and went over below the shield as luna cried

"Daddy, im scared!"

she yelled as she sat on the shield and he held his hands out under it

"Luna, on the count of 3 mommy is going to take the shield away then im going to catch you ok?"

he said and she shook her head

"But what if you dont catch me?!"

she sobbed and he gave a smile

"Luna, ill always catch you, no matter what, now, on 3, got it?"

he asked and she nodded wiping her tears and i stood by mom while the baby was on her back in a carrying sling

"Inoue. 1....2...3!"

My dad yelled and she took the shield away and i saw Luna fall yelling

"Daddy!!"

she screamed then my dad caught her letting out a oomph!

he caught her and she clung on to him as he chuckled

"See, i caught you sweetie, your fine now"

he said walking over to us and then he looked at me as i tried not to make eye contact

"You. We need to talk whem we get home"

he said and i sighed as my mom held my hand

"Shuuhei, dont do that again, ok?!"

she said and hugged me almost to tears as i hugged back

"ok mom"

i said and she nodded

mom is the one that worries all the time, dad disciplines and we are the men in the house

and i have to take care of my 2 sisters when ever he has to fight, or has to worry about mom

thats our man rule in the house, well our family mostly.

either way, this man is going to be grounded. And by that i mean me.
