Chapter 8 -Byun Baek Hyun

On my way to the book store from school I suddenly bumped into a boy...?...girl?... "Jeosonghamnida." We said in unison.

He picked up a note book that fell from my bag and worst is that it was... It was my diary! He gave it back then I sulked down to seat at a bench nearby, making the first expression he would think of me but it was no use, I instead marked on the last expression I would want a stranger to think of me...

"Mianhe. I didn't mean to but I accidentaly read a sentence in your diary when I picked it up." He said bowing

"Bo? What part?" I asked then he sat down beside me, leaned closer to my ears, and whispered...

"I read that you're terminally ill." Of all the parts I wrote down, it just had to be that part. *sigh*

"Ah, that's alright." I said with a blank face expression "You know you're the first person who knew about this excluding my sister." then tears slowly drop

"Mianhamnida, Jeongmal mianhabnida. I didn't mean to. Please don't cry." He looks like an adorable boy but his voice sounds like a girl.

"Gwaenchana." I said

"Shin Gi Seung ibnida and you know what?... I'm not a boy... I'm a girl." He I mean she said then laughed. What the heck? Why is he saying it to me? And why is she dressed up like a... wait.. No! Don't tell me he's a Lesbi -.. I don't even want to think of it.

"Bo? That's why you looked all cute and -"

"De. *smiles* Are we even now?"

I laughed then nodded "Lee Chan Mi ibnida, nice to meet you Gi seung."

"Ne, nado. I go to a Boy's school at Hanchok Boys Academy."

"So are you here to visit? Transfer?" I asked

"Transfer."

"When are you going to transfer then?"

"Maybe... by Saturday this week?" she replied

"That's great. What school are you going to transfer to?"

"Purple Academy." She replied then I showed her the logo in my school uniform -which said Purple University.

"I go to that school too!" I said smiling

"I'm happy to go the same school as yours." She smiled back

"Nado *smiles*. Where are you going to live then? Do you have a house here?" I asked

"Aniyo. I'm going live at our school's -" then I interrupted when I knew what she was going to say next

"Dorm? I live there too." I said then chuckled

"Wow. I sure am lucky. I have my first friend and we're both in the same school." She laughed then I took a glance of my watch its 6:04 p.m.

"I have to get going now. I still have to do something." I stood and bowed

"Ne. Arasso Annyeong Chan mi. See you soon."

"Ne, nado." I replied and waved good bye smiling.

Thursday Morning 6:50 a.m.

*RING! RING!*

"De." I picked up.

"Chan mi, this is Sehun. Let's go jog." Sehun said in a loud and cheerful voice

"Arachi, eodi?" I asked

"Here at the park." He replied

"Ok. Be there in a few. Annyeong." I said cheerfully then hung up, ran to the bathroom to take a shower and after that I went to change then left to go to the park.

7:42 a.m.

I arrived at the park then I saw Sehun immediately. I approached him "Annyeong!" I greeted with joy.

"Sit down." He said in a plain voice looking at the opposite direction

"I thought -"

"Myun hye told me that you got sick. Worst, you even fainted." He then stared at me with serious eyes "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't know if -"

"I had time for you? If I want to know? If I'll just get irritated? Or If I'd get disturbed?" he asked

"N.. ne." then I avoided eye contact by facing my body to the other side then Sehun pulled me back to face him

"Then ask me...Chan mi."

I faced him and uttered "Do you have time to visit me?... Do you want to know about my health?... Aren't you going to get irritated? Or Will I just affect you?"

"Ne." he answered immediately "Of course because I want to be there with you. Wae? Why would you think that I'll get irritated when you've been kind and friendly to me since the day we've met? And Chan mi, nothing is going to change."

I smiled and cried tears of joy. He smiled back and I hugged him "Thank you."

"Do you still want to jog?" he stood and offered his hand to pull me up.

"Of course, let's go jog." I took his hand and stood. We jogged until its 9:13 a.m. we went to eat breakfast at a café then we said our goodbyes. Sehun left then I went back to the dorm.

Saturday Evening 5:56 p.m.

I went out the dorm to take a walk and saw Gi Seung at the gate. I immediately ran towards her, she was struggling carrying her bag.

"Can I help you with that?" I asked and chuckled then as soon as she saw me she smiled and hugged me

"Annyeong Chan mi, sure you can. 206 is my room."

"You've finally changed your mind and be a girl again." I said laughing. She looks like a girl now, all dressed up in a cute blue mini skirt.

"Yeah. I can't go on living, pretending to be a boy." That's good.

We both laughed then went to her room. "We're here." I said putting down her bag

"Yeah. I wonder who my roommate is?"

I laughed and pushed her in "Go in and find out for yourself. Annyeong, see you tomorrow."

"Ne. Gamsahabnida Chan mi."

I went back to my room then I slept.

...

*DING! DONG!*

I woke up and glanced at my watch its 1:04 a.m.

"Who could that be?, a patrol guard or something?" I asked myself. I went to the door and opened it. It was Gi seung.

"Why are you still up this early?" I asked in a sleepy voice stretching

"I wanted to talk with you."

"Sure. Come in and seat." I was about to go inside then she grabbed my hand and let go

"I kind of wanted to go outside and enjoy the morning breeze, would you -" I smiled and interrupted

"Ne, nado. Wait here I'll just go get my jacket."

1:17 a.m.

We went out just near the dorm by the fountain walking "So, what did you want to talk about?" I asked

"I just wanted to know more about you and for you to know more about me."

"It's about my secret isn't it?" I smiled

"Ne. How did it happen? Since when has it started? Eodi? Wae?" She asked continuously
