At 22, you were back at UMass. You and I hadn't talked in three months. I don't think you had talked to anyone in three months. You missed your mom and you didn't know how to cope. Later, you told me how you only went back to school because your grandparents told you it was the only option for you: that you needed to move on and not let your mother's death hinder your future.  

Your dad went to your mom's funeral and you threw a Bible at him. No one could say you were in the wrong, except maybe you shouldn't have chosen such a Holy book. I think you should have picked a heavier one.
