Heidi's POV
It's been 8 years since my dad became Santa Claus. You're probably wondering what happened since then. Well, my mom and Neal had a baby. My sister Lucy is around the same age Charlie was when we found out our dad was Santa. Charlie is now 16, and he's in high school. I'm 21 now, and I'm in college. My dad is still Santa. Charlie stopped going to the North Pole when he was 14. I stopped when I started going to college. I miss the elves. I miss my family. But I have to focus on school first.
(At college)
I was walking when I bumped into someone. I looked to see Josh Freeman.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to." I said.
"No. It was my fault. I wasn't looking where I was going." He said. "I'm Josh." He shook my hand.
"I'm Heidi." I said.
"I know. We have 2 classes together." He said. Now I felt like an idiot.
"Oh!" I said, shaking my head. "Sorry. I didn't know."
"It's okay. I'm more of a quiet kid, anyway." He said. I chuckled. "Well, I guess I'll see you around."
"Yeah." I said.
"Bye, Heidi." He said, and walked away.
"Bye Josh." I said. I sighed, and walked away, feeling happy.
