A warning to your mind

I dedicate my chapters/poems to anyone from the COMMENTS, especially if you are a fan or have my poems on your reading list =)

-------------------------

Your heart is beating like a drum against the sky,

There is no end.

And the walls are closing right against your mind,

There is no escape.

And the noise is like endless torrents,

The world is caving in,

The rope is stringing needles,

And you can feel yourself slipping.

The tiny pin prick of light is fading,

It's already too far out of reach.

What were you thinking, hope?

You could never of made it anyway.

You're slipping further forward,

You're falling lower still.

How did you ever believe that it was possible?

You were always such a fool.

And now you're falling further,

You're breaking more than glass,

The darkness holding on to you,

Is pulling strong and fast.

The lies that you are hiding in,

Are lighter than the truth,

But the secrets tie your soul much tighter,

Than letting them go would do.

And now you start to panic,

It's all become too much,

It was never meant to get this far,

And now you're out of luck.

Turn back time and hold on tight,

Don't forget to run,

This is where the hard part is,

Where everything begun.

You relax your mind,

Let out a sigh,

It hasn't happened just yet.

Your over-active imagination was just warning you:

Don't make that mistake. Don't forget.
