From the seas the shores are running,
From the sky the stars are throwing,
Glances down.
Down to you.
From the distance voices humming,
From the darkness hearts are thrumming,
An eerie a tune.
A tune for you.
But everything is different now,
When I was lost you’d show my how,
To fly my ship,
To drive my sails,
To hold my heart,
Against the stormy hail.
Yet as I stand before you here,
You’re a million miles away from me.
I don't understand a word you say,
Lost in the sea.
As far as far can be.
And in the wind the shadows blowing,
In the sunlight darkness glowing,
Can't you hear the cries?
They cry for you.
Why can’t you hear the cries?
They cry for you.
