「chapter two 」

"where are we?" you asked seungwon feeling slightly uneasy following behind him, "a friends house" seungwon informs, not enough information for you to understand

you furrow your eyebrows with a small pout and hook your arm with his, "come on orabeoni, why don't you just tell me?" you ask seungwon

seungwon smiles as he looks at you and looks forward. a figure then walks down the stairs with a smile, seungwon smiles and waves a the lady.

you look at the lady and your eyes grew wide slightly in shock, "madam lee nanyoung.." you mumble

"uncomfortable with me?" nanyoung asks quickly getting your attention, "no! of course not! I really respect you" you were quick to respond

nanyoung and seungwon laugh at your reaction and left you confused.

did i say anything funny?

you asked yourself. "y/n-ah, im just a pop music singer. i should respect you, you want to become a singer for the broken hearts of your country" nanyoung says

"my singing is still.." you say with a small laugh looking down at your feet feeling slightly embarrassed

"what a pretty darling" nanyoung compliments looking at you with a smile, "like a peach blossom" seungwon describes with a smile

"right! peach blossom" nanyoung agrees, "title 'peach blossom'" seungwon says as an idea came to his mind, "the song will be about you" he finished

"you're his muse, im not surprised. seungwon got himself a good one" nanyoung tells seungwon with a smile

"i love all the songs he makes, they're amazing" nanyoung informs you

you furrow your eyebrows in confusion and looked at nanyoung, "songs?"

"you didn't know? he was famous even in japan" nanyoung informs you once again

"don't tell my mom" seungwon says standing up walking to one of the shelf's. "he wrote one of my songs, 'spring dream'" nanyoung tells you

"spring dream? that's written by choi chi-rim"

"right!"

"you won't believe who im with, can you come?"

     "now?"

"seungwon is always talking about how beautiful you sing, do you mind singing a song for me?" nanyoung asks

you smile brightly with a nod, "of course!"

you stand up and prepare your voice before you begin to sing one of your favorite songs from lee nanyoung. its also hyerins favorite song, you two enjoy singing it together.

nanyoung smiles hearing your voice along with seungwon. once you finished singing the song you smile. your smile was bright like the sunlight, it was enough to help shine light to the joseon hearts that are in need for help.

nanyoung clap's happily, "your voice is very beautiful, it surely will help joseon" nanyoung compliments

you smile in response

"you're leaving?" seungwon asks you, "yeah, i promised yumi i would help her with the bar"

seungwon pouts, "don't be sad, tomorrow we can be together" you suggest

seungwon nods, "okay.." seungwon replies still feeling upset

"hurry up lovebirds" yumi calls getting the twos attention

you smile, "ne"

hyerin gets off the carriage walks to you, you smile at her and wave. you get in the carriage sitting next to yumi, hyerin was about to get in but you quickly stop her. "you stay here"

"what? i don't want to stay alone" hyerin tells you, "orabeoni, take care of hyerin for me" you tell seungwon

"anything for you my lady" seungwon agrees showing you a lovely smile

"let's go" yumi informs

you wave to seungwon and hyerin, "bye orabeoni and hyerin"

"take care!" seungwon waves

you smile to yourself and look forward, Yumi sighs "how i miss being in young women deeply in love.." yumi says looking around

"y/n-ah, being in love is something you should cherish while everything is going well. you shouldn't always trust a male.. cause sometimes they turn out to be different from who you fell in love with" yumi explains

you look at your sister's eyes and see the sadness. yumi was engaged with a male who appeared to be nice and wealthy. you would see your sister and her husband and the two looked deeply in love. that was until a couple years passed and it seemed like your sister was the only one in love. you noticed how the guy would constantly leave your sister alone, and didn't pay much attention. and rather than being nice and respectful to her he was annoyed and rude towards her. yumi then found out he was having a different affair with another lady, she was a giseang. a young pretty giseang who stole the heart of yumis man. they divorced, and it wasn't on good terms. ever since that day your sister didn't pay much attention to her love life anymore, she still seems to be heart broken from the incident.

you pout sadly and hold her hand comforting her, yumi looks at you and smiles. it was a sad smile, not the happy one you see most of the time.
