Semblance: Shadow Step—Richter has the ability to disappear, or "step," into his shadow at one location and move around as a shadow before reappearing in a different location. He is also able to take one other person with him into his shadow, though it consumes a larger percent of his aura.
Affiliation: Haven Academy student, son of Haven's Grimm Studies teacher, Prof. Maria Van Helsing.
Personality: Richter isn't the most open or friendly person at Haven. He has a reputation as being rather cold and edgy. Some people have even referred to him as brooding. Those who truly understand Richter know better than this. Yes, he is somewhat cold and reserved. But, he is also a loyal friend who refuses to leave anyone behind—no matter the cost. Regardless of race or social status, Richter will always do his best to protect those weaker than him.
Appearance: Richter is 6' tall. He has messy brown hair and has golden eyes. He wears a pair of black, leather combat boots with matching gauntlets. He often dresses in a dark brown, military-styled uniform. The part of his outfit that stands out most is his metallic grey trench coat that has fur around the collar.

Weapon: Richter is armed with a very unique and deadly weapon. The Witcher Traum is an advanced, high-caliber Dust handgun/Dust-blade scythe. Thanks to the blade being retractable, Witcher Traum can also be used as a non-lethal melee weapon.
