Chapter 3

We walk down the street in our smelly basketball jersey's and shorts joking and having fun, ignoring the other people giving us glares and smiles.

We reach our favorite diner Toms and walk in and sit down at our favorite booth in the back the one with worn down red leather seats. The rest of the diner was mostly tables and chairs, except the other booths in the corners of the diner with their own worn down, ripped seats. Tom's was run by a Man and his wife in there 60's.

Our normal waiter came over the owners wife. She was a short and grey haired but that didn't bother us. She always says that Justin and me would be a cute couple. I usually just smile and say were just friends.

"Same as always kids?" She asks.

"Ya!" We say in union.

"K. I'll be right back with your drinks."

She walks back across the diner over to the counter and fills each of us a glass. Coke for Ryan and Chaz, Pepsi for Justin and me.

She comes back in a few minutes with our drinks. After she leaves we chit chat for awhile until she brings our food. It was everything we usually had when we can here. For Justin and I it was cheeseburgers and fries, for Ryan and Chaz it was cheese pizza. Our order has never changed ever since we started coming here 4 years ago. Its the place I first realized I had a crush on my best friend.
