Me, Ozzy, and Troy walked into English and take our seats in the back. Ozzy and Troy were talking about something, but I wasn't paying attention. Its been a few days since I told Emily to leave. I've ignored everyone and threw myself into fixing cars so that I didn't have to think about anything. I know Ozzy and Troy are worried about me and they know something is up. I also have Lacy breathing down my neck and Emily stealing glances at me. The bell rings, knocking me out of my thoughts. I see Emily handing back the test we just took yesterday.

Emily hands me my test saying, "Ashton, please stay after class." I sighed softly, but nodded. I honestly didn't want to stay after in this class, especially seeing as that Emily had been trying to talk to me every chance that she got. And I wasn't willing to have that. She made it very clear as to where we stood when she just up and left three years ago.

The class ended quickly, and I threw my things in my bag. I was ready to leave as soon as she was finished talking to me, and I wasn't willing to stay a moment longer. Ozzy and Troy wished me the best of luck before they left. I sighed again as the last student left. I stood up and then slowly walked over to her desk. I shifted my bag on my shoulder and cleared my throat to gain her attention.

"What did you need, Ms. Bates" I ask knowing that she wanted me to use her first name like I had before when it was just us, but she was just my teacher. That was it. I watched as the hurt flashed in her eyes as she looked up at me. She didn't say anything for a while, simply staring at me. So, I sighed and moved my bag again, "If there's nothing that you wanted to talk about, then I'm going to go to lunch."

I backed away from her desk and stepped towards the door. I had just gotten to the door when I felt her hand clasped around my wrist, pulling me back against her body. I stiffened as she placed her forehead between my shoulder blades. I heard her voice, but I couldn't make out what she had said. I turned around and took a step away from her, making sure to stare at her.

"What" I asked. I heard her clear her throat as she locked the door. She took a step closer to me, my eyes focusing only on her soft pink lips. Emily says, "I was hoping to talk to you about before." I raised an eyebrow. She wanted to talk about when she just up and left without any kind of explanation? I scoffed. She made it very clear how she felt. I cleared my throat and stared at her as blankly as I could manage. "Look, Ms. Bates" I say, "I don't want to talk about anything that involved us in the past. It's in the past, and that's where it's going to stay."

I felt her tug me against her, and I pulled away, taking a few steps back until I was against her desk. I crossed my arms in front of me as she stepped closer to me, pressing her lips against mine. I groaned hard against her soft lips. Sure, I missed her, but I didn't want to get caught up in her games. I felt her hands land on my hips, and her fingers tease the waistband of my basketball shorts.

I moved to pull away from her, but she wasn't letting me go anywhere. Her fingers tugged my shorts down, and I could feel one of her hands moving to stroke me in my boxers. I groaned, her tongue finding its way into my mouth. Whimpering at the intrusion, I was losing my self-control. I moved my own hands to her hips, pulling her closer to my body.

I growled when I realized what was going on, and I pushed her away. I wiped my lips with the back of my hand and glared at her. "Ash" Emily says, "I miss you." I stiffened when she placed her hands on my forearm, teasing up and down my flesh. I let out a sharp breath when she moved her hands further up my arm. When I don't push her away, Emily continues, "I regret leaving the way I did. I wanted to pick up where we left off."
