"sorry i completely forgot about this" i sigh looking at nurse jane

"don't worry about it you're here aren't you" she smiles

35 minutes later

"bye etta i'll talk to you in about three days about your results!" nurse jane shouts as i'm half way out of the door

"god that took so much longer than i said" i whisper to myself about abby and bianca

i start jogging towards my room to get to them faster

i stop and cough

i cough up mucus and hurry to the bathroom to spit it in the toilet

"ugh" i huff i'm annoyance "why can't i be there with my friends for once and not hack up a storm" i roll my eyes to myself in the mirror

i finish in the bathroom and walk to my room. running is defiantly not going to work

"i'm so so so so sorry it took 42 minutes" i reach the door of my room

"etta you're fine. we told you take you're time. and quit with the exact time shit, you're creeping me out" abby laughs at me

i laugh back "sorry i'm just so used to it because of my regimen" i look at my medicine table "shit"

"are you okay?" bianca gets up from my bed

"yeah, i just need to do my second pill in 12 seconds"

"oh my god" she laughs "you scared me"

i take my second pill out of three for the day and chill with abby the rest of the day

2:52 pm

"wanna make a fort?" abby asks

"yes oh my god!" i get up in excitement

we finish making our fort when we hear the door open

"ebola?" i hear ethan ask

"ebola number two?" i ask peaking my head out of the fort door

"what the fuck are you doing?" he laughs at me

"i made a fort with my best friends abby and bianca" i pull their heads out of the door with mine

"oh sorry" he scratches his neck

"uh what do you need?" i ask looking at him

"i was gonna ask if you wanted to go for a walk but you're busy" he laughs

"yeah sorry lover boy, but maybe another day" i smile "and how did you know where my room was?" i eye him down

"nurse jane" he winks and leaves

"ooooohh et! who's that!" abby pokes my stomach making me laugh

"just some guy i ran into this morning" i say still laughing

"he's totally got the hots for you" bianca smiles at me

"i know, everyone does" i joke as i flip my hair

"oh my god fuck off" abby laughs at me

5:13 pm

"two minutes and 21 seconds" i tell abby and bianca

"oh god" she rolls her eyes and laughs

"alright. time for my last and final pill of the day!" i get up fist pumping the air in victory

they both laugh laughs

"sorry if this is loud. you can go to the cafeteria if you want" i say to them as i strap my afflovest on

"okay we will be back" they both say getting up from my bed

"get me chips!" i yell to them

abby gives me the thumbs up as i crank on the vest

"ahhhhh" i open my mouth and hear the vibration of the vest mess with my voice and i laugh

"what is that?" ethan sits down on my bed

"afflovest" i answer calmly as i sit up straight on my bed

"and what is that?" he questions again

"helps with the mucus"

"oh gotcha" he smiles

"so what are you doing here?" i question

"wanted to see what you were doing. i heard this thing from my room so i wanted to check on you" he answers honestly

"what room number are you?" i ask looking at his beautiful hazel eyes

"152" he smiles "right across from you" he puts his arm around my shoulders

"great" i roll my eyes jokingly

"alright well i better get back to grayson" he gets up

"who?" i ask

"my twin. you should meet him tomorrow" he smiles at me

"okay" i smile back
