Once he was back in Johto, Nate headed for the daycare. The cute breeder with the blue hair saw him.

"Hey," she said. "You're the jackass who took my shiny Zorua!"

"Her name is Midna," Nate said.

He placed the pokeball in the girl's hand. She opened it, and Midna came out of the ball.

"Wait, are you..."

"She belongs to you," Nate said.

He turned to head for his car. He heard Midna's sad cry behind him, and turned to look at her.

"I'm gonna miss you," he said, "but you belong to her. Please don't look at me like that, baby girl. This is what needs to be done."

Nate wiped a tear as he got in the car and left. The breeder looked at Midna. The Zoroark whimpered sadly as she watched the man who'd raised her and trained her leave. She shook her head.

"It'll be okay, Midna," she said.

She said this, though she wasn't really sure it would be. That Rocket boy, though he had stolen Midna, had raised and cared for the Zoroark. And Midna had grown to love the boy who'd trained her. The breeder felt bad for the Pokemon. She knew the boy had meant well, but it broke her heart to see the Pokemon sad like this.
