[Incident Log B, No casualties, Green]

"Mic check."

"Loud and clear. Check."

"I can hear you, Command."

"Bee."

"You're clear."

"Smitt."

"Hear you."

"New guy."

A grunt of brief amusement.

"It's Sams, sir."

"Alright, Command, we're turning on the feed."

[Feed displays the four standing on the porch on guard. The camera swivels a bit as Sams's helmet turns to the extraction team driving the boy off to the Campus. Other three men do not display or currently behave as if they have sustained any discernible structural damage or trauma.]

"Alright Brians. We need you to go in there and do a deep scan. You have the Icarus ARS, right?"

[Brians's feed turns downward at the orange Icarus ARS device in his hands, at his men all looking down at their own individual Icarus ARS devices, then back up at the unlocked front door.]

"Yeah, we have it, Command."

"Alright, go in, Field Leader?"

"Roger that."

"From now on, all coms are directed to you. Good luck."

[Feed again wobbles as all four men enter the house. The house is a standard layout containing a dining room to the right next to the front door as well as an office to the left, followed by the hallway to the kitchen and living room. The rooms are shabby at best, neglected due to presumably the child living here on his own for months. The men go through the first floor slowly, finding and scanning nothing anomalous. An hour and a half later and the men have finished their sweep.]

"Command, nothing down here is anomalous. Permission to proceed upstairs?"

"Brians, you are clear to head upstairs."

"Roger that. Let's go folks."

[The feed bobs as the men march up the stairs and shows a small hallway with the bedrooms, bathrooms and laundry room. The men examine each room until they reach the master bedroom. It's door is closed. then men's feeds nod up and down as they ready to enter in.]

"Sir, you reading that?"

"Yeah, Bee, I'm reading it. Icarus is telling us whatever's behind the door is anomalous. You hear that Command?"

"Yeah, we hear that, Field Leader. Proceed with caution."

"3... 2... 1. Go."

[Feed shakes as Brians's boot kicks the door open, revealing a normal room. Breathing and Icarus's alarm beeping are heard as the men examine the room with their weapons ready. A thud is heard from the master bathroom and the feed turns to see the attic stairway fall on Bee.]

"You alright, Bee? [Expletive]!"

"I'm alright, sir."

"Alright, at least we know how to get up there. Smitt, help him up. Sams, [Expletive] it, you're Sam now. Sam, I'm gonna need you to go up the attic. Command?"

"Go ahead, Brians."

[Feed bobs up and down slowly as Sams ascends the wooden stairs. Footage reveals several non-anomalous abjects such as family heirlooms and a singular cardboard box with the label "Mr. Soup Bowl" on it.]

"Sir, I think we've found what we're looking for. It's a box with the label, "Mr. Soup Bowl."

[End of Incident Log B. No addendums necessary.]

"Alright, big guy. What's your name?"

"Didn't you ask me that already, Ms. Stephenson?"

"Oh, right. We're going to need you to repeat yourself since we're recording now, for the records we're going to put down. Can we do that?"

"Okay. I'm Jeremy Johnson, my friends call me JJ though."

"Alright, Jeremy. How long ago have your parents aban- left you for vacation?"

"About the start of school. They told me they was coming back, but I hasn't seen them. They do that all the time, but this is the longest one."

"Did they say why they would go?"

"For vacation."

"Do you know where, Jeremy?"

"Uhm, no, ma'am. I'm sorry."

"That's alright, Jeremy. This will conclude the interview, for now, buddy. Let's take you back to your room."

"Am I gonna get to go back to my house?"

"I'm afraid not yet, Jeremy."

"What's gonna happen to me?"

"Again, I'm afraid I don't have the answer, Jeremy."

"Why?"
