Chapter 31

Priya pov:
We were at tanishas house, surrounded by people who hate me. I didn't know what to do, if I ran away they would think I'm weak. If I walked up to them, I know I wouldn't be able to protect myself in front of them. I just needed help, I wanted to call someone. I couldn't... Avi was with me, she would help me. But what would we do? We stood there for a few minutes, then I felt someone grab my wrist. I looked over it was tj.

Priya: Ouch. That hurts..

I started tearing up, he was twisting my wrist.

Avi: LET HER GO!

She tried running up to tj but tanisha and Ari held her back! She struggled but she got out of their hands, pushed tj and he fell onto the floor and grabbed my hand and ran. We ran to the car and drove away.

Jais pov:
After what rani said about not getting a good feeling. I couldn't ignore it! So I got her to calm down and I went out to the living room where Bhavesh and Siddharth were watching tv. I got the remote and turned it off.

Sidd: Dude, we were watching that!
Jai: I need to talk to you guys about something important.
Bhavesh: Is Rani.. okay?
Jai: Yeah But She is nervous, scared, etc.
Sidd: Why?
Jai: She said she didn't have a good feeling about Priya and Avi going there.
Bhavesh: To meet tanisha?
Sidd: She's Nice! Don't worry, I think that Rani is just scared after yesterday.
Jai: I hope, can you just call them to make sure?
Bhavesh: Sure I'll call Priya.

*on call*

Bhavesh: hello? Priya?
Priya: Y-Yeah
Bhavesh: You Guys Okay?
Priya: Yeah, Just on our way home.
Bhavesh: Okay! We are all just waiting here.
Priya: Okay, see you. Bye.

Bhavesh: See they are fine!
Jai: Okay...

Avis pov:
We were on our way home, still had no idea how to react. Priya was just frozen... she started crying. I got her to stop, I looked down at her wrist. He twisted it so much, it's all red. And I could see marks on it. Just then Bhavesh called to check on us, Priya told him we were on our way. I think I should tell Sidd, but I'll tell him when we are alone.
We reached home about 10 minutes later.

Bhavesh pov:
We heard the doorbell ring and it was Avi and Priya. They both seemed normal, smiling and happy... like when they left.

Bhavesh: How was your day?
Priya: Good, we all just sat and talked.
Jai: About What?
Avi: Jai, Shut up.. we made plans to meet up again.
Sidd: Did you meet her cousin and friend? Or did they already go back?
Avi: we met them.
Bhavesh: Are they nice?
Priya: I-
Avi: Meh.
Priya: guys I'm tired, think I'm going to go sleep.
Bhavesh: Okay, go rest.
Priya: Okay Bye.

She got up and she suddenly hugged me. Like really long and tight. Something didn't seem right, she didn't seem that good. It was like I could see right through her.

*an hour later*

I decided to go check on Priya. I walked into her room and she was still sleeping. I walked over to her and sat on her bed. I wanted to wake her up but she looked like a angel. I grabbed her hand and rubbed it. I looked down and saw her wrist, it was all red and had marks on it. Hand marks.

Rani pov:
I woke up and went outside in the living room. I wanted to watch some tv, so I sat on the sofa. I saw Avi was here, which means Priya was back too!

Rani: Where's Priya?
Jai: Went to take a nap about an hour ago, Bhavesh went to wake her up.

Take a nap? She never does that.. that's weird. Something definitely up. Avi suddenly got up and Sidd went after her. I scooted over to Jai and snuggled up in his blanket and watched tv.

Avis pov:
Rani came out, asking about Priya. I decided to tell Sidd. I told him to come with me, I needed to talk to him in private. We both went into the kitchen.

Sidd: What happened?
Avi: We were acting, to be honest tanisha house was hell 😭

I started crying. Sidd cupped my face with his hands.

Sidd: Tell me everything that happened.
Avi: We went there and apparently tj went to her house after the party yesterday and she agreed with tj.  Then we found out her cousin is Ari and her friend is Disha. Afterwards, reem walked out and she hates Rani for "stealing Jai" and so to get "revenge" she is dating tj and they are planning something. Tanisha hates Priya, because she likes Bhavesh. Ari hates me, cause she likes you.. and reem hates Rani because of Jai.
Sidd: And Disha?
Avi: Disha likes someone else, but she used to like Bhavesh. She needs Priya help to get closer to Vihang, the guy that came to the party and helped beat up tj.
Sidd: Wow, so much happened and your now just telling me this?
Avi: There's one more thing. Tj grabbed Priya wrist/twisted it, and her wrist is red with marks now. And they held me back when I tried to stop him.

After saying all this I just started crying. Because I knew more was to come after this, and life was going to be tough. Sidd grabbed me and hugged me.

Sidd: stop crying. We are in this together. We will go against them together. I'll tell Jai and Rani, lets go back.

We walked back to the living room and saw Bhavesh and Priya were already there. So Sidd didn't want to say it in front of them to make Priya uncomfortable. We just waited for it to be the right moment so we could tell Jai and Rani. Just then tj texted me, "do you like the gentle red marks that hoe has on her wrist now? It'll be all over you, Rani and Priya soon enough. You stupid people deserve that."
