Dear Reader,
Im not safe roaming on these streets
Running helpless throughout the night
Footsteps follow but nowhere to hide
Fear has overcome me
Run just run
Am I safe here?
Am I going to die?
The voice sounds in the athmosphere
Getting louder and louder
It surrounds me
Im sufficating
Rescue me
The voice, The footsteps
Who is the beast that follows?
Its getting close, too close
That heart wrenching scream that fills the air
Escaping my mouth
Why is this happening to me?
Running in circles
I realize the illusion that surrounds me
Mirrors
As I stand lifeless, facing reality
Tears trickling down my face
It hits me hard
The person that I'm face to face with,
ME.
Just me
My eyes flutter open as I awaken from my nightmare
But my nightmare is my reality
There is no escaping me
I'm always going to live my nightmare.
