1.

she was just a little girl

but a big dreamer

and her reality

was the world’s fantasy

and someday she wanted to

paint the sky

with the colour of joy

and the glitter of the stars

her hair was a perfect hue of mahogany

her eyes always glimmered with wilderness

she had dimples deeper than the ocean

and a mind that wandered places

but never lost its way back

every night

before her mother could kiss her goodnight

she would go on and on about dancing

under the moonlight

and how she wanted to run up the hills

and lie down on a patch of green

with an arm full of roses

and a basket filled with berries

and her mother would smile

and look into her eyes

and simply whisper

e v e r y t h i n g

will be just fine.
