"I see something there Lorri" Leah spoke as we went inside of the company we're visiting here in Irvine,
"what do you mean?!" I asks crossing my arm on her other arm "you like sir Bradley, do you?" she asks out of nowhere "minimize your voice Lee!" I whispered-yelled and she looked and me and laugh
"I don't also know Leah, seriously" I said looking down as we walk
"well, we will find out..." she said as I force a fake smile
The meeting went quite well, sir Bradley really handled it well, he get the company's YES with his proposal... it took hours after the meeting finish, and the 4 of us are really happy and since it's already dark when we left the building, sir Bradley took us all to a dinner in a fine dining. Leah, Wendy and Jason sat across us, and I'm sitting next to sir Bradley, just the two of us in the left side while the three facing us.
"you guys look cute" Leah grinned as I shyly lowered my head down "you notice it too Leah? Well they really are" Jason cracked in, okay, I admit it, I'm blushing as tomato right now. I heard sir Bradley let out a chuckle.
"right Wendy?" Leah nudge Wendy with her elbow and she just rolled her eyes and heavily sighed, what a seriously bitch. "Leah stop" I softly laugh, "what? Is it illegal to tell the truth?" She raised a brow making me rolled my eyes.
"so, should we take that as a compliment?" sir Bradley said making me face him shocked. "sure" Leah grinned and winked at me, "haha" I rolled my eyes.
We ordered our foods and ate while talking some stuffs "so, Leah, how's Jeremy?" Sir Bradley asked "how did you know?" Leah asks shockingly "it's obvious" sir Bradley said with a 'duh' toned voice and Leah let out a nervous chuckle
"he's fine though, we're getting stronger and stronger" Leah said cheerfully, I love seeing her happy like this, I wish I would too, someday...
"you really are so happy and I love seeing you like this Lee" I awed as she hold my hands "aww thank you Lorri!!!" she awed as I gave her my so happy smile with the glow and happy
"I'll help you find your happiness too Lorraine" she winked at me "I'm the only one who can find mine, it can wait... I can wait..." I forced a smile
Okay, the conversation is kind of awkward and deep and I feel like bursting into tears because I really can't wait no more... I'm getting older and I happen to have now person yet in my life!
"you know, let's move on to the next topic, I really don't want to talk about that" I nervously laughed and they nod
"don't tell me you don't have any boyfriend now Lorraine?" Wendy teasingly asked mouthing her salad and I just shook my head no, okay, I remembered my past again, ugh.
"really?" she giggled as Leah nudged Wendy with her elbow "sorry" she rolled her eyes, this hoe is getting into my nerves!
"you don't have to though... I mean I'm happy and unlike some girls out there... you know? Screwing every guy she met? At least me I have integrity in life and I don't do hook ups to please me, I can wait and I have my passion in life..." I said smiling annoyingly and sipped my wine, that whole thing is for Wendy, she really is pissing me and I just show her how I play games with her...
Jason cleared his throat as I stood up and went outside crossing my arms on my chest breathing the fresh cold air from the outside inhaling deeply and slowly exhaling craps, "you okay?" Leah stood beside me and a tear fell down from my left eye,
"what do you think?" I face her with my tears streaming down in my face
"I'm so hopeless now! I'm never gonna find my happiness! I hate this feeling Leah" I cried and she hugged me from beside
