How can it be that,
While the ocean swallows the sandcastle walls
As bright green leaves wither and fall While blazing summers burn to autumn
Which fades to winter in a grave of snow
As brand new books catch dust on shelves
And while moments fade to blurred memories...
How can it be?
That you and I grow younger...
Grow stronger
How do we defy the universal rule of time whose mission is to seizes all matter and decay it?
Why us?
Why?
The answer is whispered by our hearts
Because it is US
We exist beyond the known and norm in a bubble of love
We float together just beyond the Universe
And there we will stay,
smiling,
humming,
Thrown in each others' arms for eternity and forever we will gaze lazily below at the futile Cosmos that follows its own course of time and matter
