"Alright!" Kaiden leaps onto my couch and presses play on the DVD remote. "Prepare to watch the best movie ever made in the horror industry!"

It's twelve o'clock already. As soon as we got to my house, everyone got their bags out and we headed straight up to my room. After dropping our bags onto my bedroom floor, we all ran downstairs and onto the beach for a run around. We played tag - we decided to be incredibly immature for a while - and then sat on the sand and watched the sun set, playing truths. After that we went inside and Kaiden and Ashar cooked us dinner while Nicolas, Michell and I picked out the movie. While we watched The Hunger Games, we ate a delicious spaghetti bolgnese. After the first movie, Michell, Nicolas and Kaiden suggested we go for a night swim.

"That's a stupid idea," Ashar snapped.

"Do you know how many creatures come out at night along the beaches?" I added.

Kaiden cringed. "Maybe that isn't a good idea," he agreed.

"You're a bunch of pussies," Michell growled. "Nic and I will go for a swim. Besides, they have nets around the houses along the beaches, so it should be fine."

After some arguing, we decided to go for the night swim. Ashar and I went upstairs to put on our bathers while the boys changed downstairs. In my room, Ashar pulled out some clothes from her bag, and put on an adorable royal blue one-piece.

"Tell me you have a bikini," she pleaded.

I felt a blush creep up my neck. I have a bikini ... only the bottoms are high-wasted. I have a scar on my waist from one of my escapades from a previous high school. It's not pretty, curving around my hip and bright white. I love my scar because it shows that I can battle off anything, but I'm embarrassed to show it off as well, because I hate questions.

"Erm, yeah," I said hesitantly. "But ..." I frowned and pulled out the bikini. The bottoms are cherry red with buttons on the front, reaching to my belly button, while the top are also cherry red but with black stripes across the straps that tie around my neck. "I'm gonna get dressed in the bathroom."

Ashar thought nothing of it. So when I came out, she saw the bikini on me and squealed. I wrapped a sarong around my body and we ran downstairs to join the boys. Upon seeing us, all jaws dropped. I think their eyes were mostly on me. I have to admit, though, Ashar has a lovely figure.

"Alright, if anyone decides to go back up to the house, we all do," I said firmly.

We were on the beach for a good three hours. By the time we got back, it was ten o'clock. After everyone had had a shower and we were dressed in our pyjamas, we put on a movie of Ahsar's choice - it was an old movie called V is for Vendetta where just about all the dialogue were words beginning with the letter V - and then, with everyone almost half asleep, Kaiden decided to wake us all up with a horror.

"I don't think we should watch Insidious," I say groggily.

"Well it's Insidious or Grave Encounters," he snaps.

Michell and Nicolas are in their sleeping bags on the floor, Nicolas already asleep. Ashar is on the lounge closest to the door, while Kaiden and I are sitting on the other lounge. We're the ones that would probably be able to stay up the latest. That's if I have a coffee though.

"Incidious it is!" Ashar says quickly.

Kaiden chuckles and we sit back. As the movie starts, I curl up and almost fall onto Kaiden. I right myself and blush, glancing at him and mumbling sorry. He smiles at me.

"If you want to lie on me, you can," he murmurs.

I glance at Michell, who's watching the screen intently, and shake my head. Kaiden follows my gaze and frowns, before leaning back to watch the movie. About a quarter of the way through, Ashar starts to snore softly.
