Chapter 46

Harrys POV

I look in the rearview mirror to see Ellie leaned against the window. Her soft breathing as she sleeps. Jess is laid over Ellie's thighs, wrapped in her arms like I wish to be. The darkness making is hard to see the road ahead without the brights on. No stars above, just clouds. Niall stares out the window. He slides his hand down his seat belt and looks over at me.

"There's something up there. Keep your eyes on the road." He unbuckles and turns around, he looks out all the back windows. Niall has never been wrong about his weird feelings. I obey and slow down my speed to make it easier for me to stop if needed. Niall turns back around and likes at me with confusion. "Who's Lena?"

My palms become sweaty, and I immediately stop the car.

"We have to turn around. We have to find a different way home." He just shakes his head. I begin to back up but hit something with so much force I almost believe I broke my neck. The girls wake up in a panic.

"What was that?" Niall questions rather loud.

"Jesus!" I scare myself as I see what we hit.

"Is that a woman?" Niall asks in disbelief. "Why isn't she dead?" Niall continues to stare. I sigh.

"My exact questions." I unbuckle and get out to talk to her. "Ellie, stay here please." I look her in the eyes.

"No." She makes a weird face and gets out also.

I tried.

"What do you want Erin?" I ask the dark skinned girl.

"What the hell harry? We were suppose to help you kill William!" Erin immediately yells in my face. Niall walks around to my side and Ellie behind me.

"We didn't-" before I can finish my sentence I'm slammed against a tree. She shoves her forearm into my throat. Ellie behind her, ready to attack.

"You know you don't want to be mortal. You never have. You don't know what it's like to be human. You could survive." I spit. She glares at me and shoves her arm further.

"You piece of-"

"Niall?" Her sentence is cut off by Lena. The red head comes down the road staring at Niall.

"Yes." He turns to look at her and she begins to cry.

"That's Niall?" Erin whispers and let's me go. I nod my head and Erin walks away to Lenas side. Niall looks over at me confused and I just smile. I knew he wouldn't remember her. They weren't dating for long until he was killed. I'm not even sure he remembers his love for her that he accumulated over such a short period of time.

"Niall." Lena whispers and reaches out to touch him. He flinches but let's her rest her hands on his cheeks. She leans in and kisses him. She pulls away after a couple seconds and looks at him. He slowly takes her hands off his cheeks and steps back.

"I'm so sorry. I..I don't remember you. I'm sorry." He whispers and she nods her head. She begins to cry once again, but he grabs her and wraps her in a hug. "I love you Niall." She sobs and he looks at me. I nod my head and look at Ellie.

"I love you too." He lets go of her and she smiles. He steps back and gets in the car.

"Erin lets go." Lena smiles to me and Ellie before running off.

"I'm sorry Erin." I speak.

"It's fine. You're right. I probably couldn't make it." She spins around and is gone.

"I'm gonna put Jess to sleep." Ellie says and walks to the guest room in her house. Niall turns to me and sighs. I look in the kitchen and look back at Niall. I walk to the fridge and he follows. I grab a bag of blood and get two mugs. I fill both and hand one to Niall.
