I watched as she examined my face carefully, like she'd find some answers by doing so. Or maybe she wanted to check if I was joking. Fortunately for me, I wasn't.

Eventually, she found her answer and turned around, stomping towards her bed. My eyes trailed down her back, and I was pleased to see her filling her jeans in the most perfect of ways. Sadly, though, the eye candy didn't last, because she spun back around after just a few seconds. Her eyes narrowed when she caught me staring, and she huffed out a breath before shoving past me and walking out the door, flinging her bag over her shoulder.

"Where are you going?" I asked, taking my time to catch up to her. An excuse to enjoy the view once again. "We just met and you won't even introduce yourself to me?"

"There's no need to for the introductions if I don't plan on staying." Her hips swayed as she fixed the strap on her shoulder. "I'm gonna go request a room change at the reception office. I am not going to be rooming with an annoying pervert like you."

"I doubt that's gonna be any help, but I'll humor you. Let me be your escort."

She scoffed and looked over at me when I finally caught up to her. "That won't be necessary. You can go. I don't want to be involved with you in any way."

I feigned offense with a hand over my chest. "Damn, am I that repulsive to be around?"

"I don't know why you care what I think about you. You look like you're perfectly capable of picking up girls." She said, sounding irritated. "Speaking of which, you just ditched a beautiful girl to follow one that's clearly not interested in you. You do realize how stupid that is, right?"

Just to annoy her further, I nodded. She was quiet after that, adjusting her bag after every few steps. Whether it was because it kept slipping or she simply wanted something to do, I couldn't tell. But still, I reached out a hand to point at it. "I can help you with that, if you want."

She shook her head. "Why are you still following me? Don't you have a date to tend to?"

"Date?" I repeated, my face scrunching up at the thought. "Nah, I just met her thirty minutes ago."

The look she gave me was one of disapproval. "And you invited her into your dorm without knowing anything about her?"

For someone who didn't want anything to do with me, she sure was trying to keep the conversation going. Not that I was complaining.

"Isn't that what one-night-stands are all about?" I asked, shoving my hands into the front pockets of my jeans.

"I wouldn't know." She mumbled in annoyance, turning her face away from me and picking up her step to try and leave me behind. This time I didn't need the view, so I caught up to her quickly. Her ass was lovely, but her face was an even better view. Even with an annoyed expression glued to it.

She gave me mean side eye and huffed when she saw me by her side again. Unfazed with her coldness, I asked, "What? So you're a virgin?"

"I never said that." She argued, moving away from me when my arm briefly brushed against hers. "I just don't have meaningless sex, that's all."

I stared ahead and shrugged. "I'd be willing to make an exception with you."

She seemed hesitant as she looked back over at me and asked, "Exception for what?"

"I would date you."

I wouldn't, but I knew she wasn't taking me seriously anyway, so there was no harm in saying a little white lie.
