Chapter 2
“Are you insane ?” I frown.
“Maybe.” She grins.
“Whatever… I’m going to take a nap…” I walk through the long corridor.
“Hey ! Wait !” She yells.
“What ? Don’t bother me !” I said not turning away.
I go to my usual spot. Under the big tree, I don’t know why, but I really like it there. I lie down then read my book. I hear footstep, who is it ?
“Rain…”
I get up and Amy is standing in front of me.
“What ?” I said flatly.
“I just want to say sorry.”
“Apology accepted.”
“Really ?” Her face brightens.
“Yes, on one condition.”
“What is it ?”
“Don’t follow me. Never ever again.”
“Uh… But…”
“Aa...” I point my finger to her.
“Okay. But I have a condition too.”
“What ? Are you kidding me ?”
“Fine then, I just follow you around forever.”
I sigh then I rub my head. Damn her.
“Alright. What do you want ?”
“I want you to kiss me.”
I laugh then stare at her.
“You’re joking right ?”
“…No…” She folds her arms.
I stare at her for a moment.
“You’re serious ?” I frown.
“I am serious.”
I stay quiet for a few seconds.
“If you don’t kiss me, I won’t stop follow you.” She’s pouting.
“Ugh… Fine… Whatever…”
I gesture her to come closer to me. She kneels down in front of me. I’m still sitting under the tree. I grab her left cheek with my right hand. She closed her eyes.
“Wait !” I said to her.
“What ?” She questions me.
“No tongue.”
“Fine…”
I redo what I did earlier, and then I lean closer to her. Our faces are so close, our lips is almost touching. I take a deep breath and close my eyes. Our lips meet. We kiss for a few moments. I pull away then look at her.
“Happy ?” I said flatly.
“Uh um…” She nods and she’s blushing.
I feel like someone watching. I look around and I see someone standing not so far away. I look closely, it’s her, the transfer student. Amy looks at the direction where I was staring. She stands up.
“I’ll see you later Rain.” Amy said passing the new girl.
The new girl walk closer to me then sit beside me.
“Sorry that I interrupt your lovely moment.” She giggles.
“Lovely ? You’re joking right ?” I said flatly.
