*1 year later*

*Johnnie's pov*

I've been living with damon for a while now. He and his mom truly are sweet. it's around 5 a.m. and Damon's mom is on a business trip again. I'm peacefully laying in Damon's bed with him, snuggled up close to him. "Johnnie? Are you awake?" I hear damon ask quietly. "Mhm. Is something wrong?" I ask. "I can't sleep and I was just wondering if you were awake." He says. "Oh, okay." I say. "How long have you been awake?" I ask. "Two hours." He says. "Aw, I've only been awake for about 25 minutes." I say. "So I could have talked to you 25 minutes ago?" He asks. "Yup." I say. "Oh well." He says. "I'm really tired." He says with a yawn. "Then go to sleep you idiot." I say. "Not unless you go to sleep too." He says. "Fine. I'll try to go to sleep." I say. "Good." He says as he moves me closer to the wall. "Is this necessary? I was perfectly fine sleeping on the edge of the bed." I say. "This is very necessary. This way you can't leave without waking me." He says. "Really, damon? Really? I'm not gonna leave you. You can trust me." I say. "Why are you complaining about sleeping closer to the wall then?" He asks. "Shut up. I'll sleep closer to the wall. You win." I say. "Good. Now try to get some sleep you weirdo." He says. "You too." I say. I started cutting again and I feel awful. I told damon I'd stop! I think as I fall asleep.

*Damon's pov*

When I wake up its raining so I cant tell the time by how bright it is. Johnnie is still next to me and I have a warm, cozy, blanket. Johnnie is facing towards the wall, just like when he actually fell asleep. I wonder what time it is. Johnnie turns towards me and cuddles into my chest adorably. Oh Johnnie, I really wish you were happy. I know you're cutting again and it breaks my heart. It kills me. Oh Johnnie, I love you so much and all I want is for you to be happy. I hug him closer and tighter. Its been about 10 minutes and I'm still in bed. "Mmmm, damon?" I hear Johnnie mumble. "Yes, darling?" I ask. "Mmm what time is it?" He asks. "I don't know." I say. "Mmmkay...." he says. "Why?" I ask. "Mmm, Just wondering." He says. "Okay." I say as he snuggles back into my chest. "Johnnie! Get up! I'm hungry!" I complain. "Fine." He says as he moves. "You can eat without me." He says as he turns away. "Nope! You're coming with me!" I say as I pull him out of bed, carefully avoiding his recent cuts. "Okay, okay. I'm coming." He says. "Yay! Pizza for brunch!" I say. "You're so weird!" He says with a laugh as he hugs me. We eat our pizza for our brunch type meal. "Do you wanna watch a movie?" I ask. "Sure!" Johnnie replies. "Yay!" I say as i go to look for a movie.
