I sighed as I shut my locker. Being a eighth grader was hard.

I turned to the right and passed Kasidy Tanaka , Drew Tanaka's daughter. She was with her little group , Diane Welters and Ari De Angelo .

Ari was nice . She was my cousin , but her father, my uncle had been depressed for years and her mother , Lindy was never home always at work.i think Ari wanted attention . So she joined Diane and Kasidy . Kasidy looked my way and snorted .

She pointed at my plain white t shirt , the kind you get at ac Moore with my beige khakis . I wore a green sweater over my shirt and dirty converse. I had my dark hair in a messy bun and no make up. My dark skin , I guess contrasted with my yellow bracelets but it looked good to me.

"Cover up those eyes. Gold is weird." Kasidy commented. I nodded and headed on my way.

But she wasn't done yet. . "I said something to you, Laia. Reply. React. Do something. " she whinned.

I turned and looked at her. "Fine . I will cover up my eyes . " I mumbled.

She smirked and turned to applie even more makeup.
