Final Farewell

I stretched my reality for so long

It became an illusion of elasticity

Where for a few seconds I was happy

Then the next would be followed by misery

I lived in a world of time

Where only a matter of enough patience…

Meant that someone else would come along

And soon, I would cease to exist to you

A futuristic world where all wrongs

Were blamed on me

And all rights were done only by you

Where equality meant nothing

I resented it, this sick little world

One of your proud creations,

This little game where you could play

With anyone of your liking

Where in all the chess pieces

You were, our only master, the only player

What you said, what you did, we believed

And I loved you, like a slave and beyond

It was brilliance, like I had never seen

But you failed me,

When your mastery eroded

And you became a deep disappointment

What  a shame, at fault I was

A purge of a failure you were

We broke, we faded

No remains were left

Anyone who had touched us

Died with us,

Now, look at you

Look at me…

What a mirror of disappointment

Where perfection and love once had a nest

A nest where we laid eggs of a future that died the moment,

The eggs touched the epiphany of our reality
