My hand trembles as a portal opens
Creating a link between ink and paper
But before words form in my mind
Translating them into poetry
Blood gushes out
Drowning the echoes writhing within me
Screaming out to be heard
Ink and paper, emotions and desires
Best combination for expressing my distress
But blood,
Oh, beautiful, thick, disgusting beloved
Says more than words, ink or paper
Blood on paper
Poetry dissovled to vapour
Says more than words have power to express
