"Hey! Stop right there! How do I know you're not a super villain using telepathic abilities to make believe that your Billy?" Freddy asks.

*Y/n POV*

"Because I'm right here." I say, stepping in front of Billy.

"Uh, how do I know you're not kidnapping her? All I have to do is press dial on this thing-"

(A/n: the first time I saw this movie I immediately thought of this line lol 🤣)

I mentally face palmed.

"No! No! I can prove it." He pulls out a backpack that was obviously Billy's. "Look, I lied, okay? I took your bullet."

He pulls out the plastic bag that has the bullet in it. But the bullet fell and bounced into the sewer.

"Stupid adult hands! But you saw it. You saw it, right?"

"Freddy, I swear it's Billy." I say.

Freddy looks at me unconvinced.

"I know we're not really close friends or anything, but you're the only person I know who knows anything about this Cape Crusader stuff." I explain.

"It's Batman." He says.

"What?" Billy asks.

"Forget it."

Freddy was still standing there in disbelief.

"Can I-"

"Oh, yeah. Yeah." Billy says.

Freddy places his hand over the lightning bolt on my chest and sparks connect his fingers to the bolt.

"It's crazy, right?"

"What are your superpowers?" Freddy asks.

"Superpowers? Dude, I don't even know how to pee in this thing!"

"Okay, okay. Can you fly?"

Billy stood there for a second in thought as he realizes that he has no clue.

~~~
"How do I do this?" Billy asks.
"Just um...just like Superman it."
He held a fist in the air and made a dramatic sound as he pretended to do when Superman took off. Billy weakly repeats his actions.
"Obviously you have to jump!" Freddy and I say.
"How is that even this obvious?" Billy asks.
"Okay, uh...try to believe that you can fly. I read this deep dive into studies about superpower and six out of ten, belief is the key." Freddy explains.
Billy ran on to a car and crashed on the ground.
"Did you believe?" Freddy asks. I start laughing as hard as I could and lean my head on Freddy's shoulder.
"I don't think he did." I mutter so only Freddy could hear in between laughs.
"Do you wanna try invisibility?" Freddy ask, as I calm down.
"How do I do-? You know what? Forget it. Okay, okay, okay, okay." Billy mutters to himself.
He takes a deep breath, then scrunched his face, believing he's invisible.
"Oh my god! It worked!" Freddy exclaims, nudging my arm to play along.
"Where'd you go?" I ask, deciding to play along, making Freddy's lip twitch as he tried to hide a smile.
"I'm right here. You can't see me?" Billy asks.
"Where?" Freddy and I ask, looking around as if we didn't see them.
Billy starts celebrating like a 4 year old.
"Hey! Nice outfit dipshit!" Some guys yells, his friends laughing.
I bit my lip, holding in a laugh. Freddy laughs.
"Okay, we might've been testing invisibility and super intelligence at the same time." I explain, hoping Billy doesn't freak out.
"L/n, Freeman, I'm gunna come over and beat you." Billy says, pointing a finger at us, but then a bolt of lightning hits a power line a little ways away. Freddy and I jump back in shock.
"Oh my god! The lightning emblem! It's been staring us in the face the whole time!" Freddy says.
"Literally!" Billy exclaims.
