Some of my teachers have described things in really odd ways... My German teacher said that a language was like a human body... The verbs and nouns are the organs, muscles and blood that make it work, the adjectives are the flesh and skin that give it its appearance, and the grammar is the skeleton that holds it all together in the right way... I am not at all worried about my safety in German class...
