An old photograph of you tucked beneath the sheets of my bedding,
I now grasp in my fragile hands.
With your curls covering your eyes,
with your grin and dimples so lovely,
and your muscles hiding beneath your shirt.
Noticing the symphony of your laughter in my ears,
though you are miles away from me,
your eyes look into mine
and they shine so brightly.
This photograph of you is all I have left
and it is enough.
