Clara's P.O.V.

"Good Morning Prestine!" An overjoyed Head Mistress/Principal announced over the P.A. "I have Amazing news for you!"

"This is it." I sighed.

"Right, now I have the news for Juniors and Seniors." She paused. "Your going to the Philippines!"

I covered my ears.

A wave of cheers exploded.

"This has all been payed for by the Von Pelt family." She added. "For the Sophomores and Freshmen your field trip will be announced on a later date."

Me and Bernadine exchanged worried glances.

A wave of murmurs followed.

She inched closer to me.

"Do you think they'll find out?" She asked in a whisper.

"No, unless someone says it." I whispered back. "Or maybe if they spied in me."

"I would never do that." She promised

"If you say so." I rolled my eyes.

"No really." She drew a cross on her chest with her finger. "Cross my heart." She raised her hand in a solemn promise-y way.

"How could I trust you?" I raised a brow. "You'll be breaking two promises if you break this one."

"Why would I even do that?" She defended.

"There are many reasons for one to double-cross." I replied. " Specially one with a loved brother in the wrong hands."

"What is that supposed to mean?" She raised a brow.

"I think you know." I said simply.
