If we are so far gone in this world of temptation and sin that we have lost the light we should be following, then it is hard to see hope. It is easy to see the despair and darkness in the world around us, forgetting what we should be doing. But even though we are blinded by the despair and darkness, the light remains where it was. So easily we forget where the hope is, and the answer to where it is is simple. We are the hope. We are the light. We are the ones who rekindle the fallen, show the way of the lost, givers of hope to the hopeless. All this done through Christ, who works through us.
