Tick...Tock... I Miss You...

The clock is always ticking,

As if time is running away from a serial killer,

But actually time is just passing by,

Seconds after seconds,

Minutes after minutes,

Hours after hours,

Just like that, time flies...

It's been a while, 

Since I last saw your face,

Your beautiful unique features,

Which attracted me like honey and bees.

 It has been some time since we last talked,

I have this terrible theory forming in my mind,

A theory that will only get me depressed,

You don't remember me...you don't miss me...

It has been so long,

Since I last felt your presence,

So long since I last heard your voice,

Since I've seen your smile...

Why...why do you seem so close?

So close to others?

But not me?

It really hurts seeing it and not knowing your thoughts...

I never seem to realize until now...

That a one-sided love is so hard,

Hard for me to keep you,

Without saying anything...

Although you probably don't know,

And will never know...

That you were once my entire world...

This is a secret kept by me...

Then the day came,

When I've seen you again,

And you just walked pass...

Without acknowledging me...

You don't know how I felt,

My thoughts during that moment...

All scrambled together...

I didn't know how to react...

Then I saw you again that same day...

I didn't want to see you...

Knowing you'll just ignore me again...

I walked by without looking back.

Thump.

Thu-thump.

That's how my heart went,

Beating faster and harder,

As I slowly went pass,

Realizing you probably had your eyes on someone else.

I guess I can only wish the best for you,

I will forget you...one day...

The day will come but for now,

I'll silently miss you.
