the members woke up one by one, the first one is sungjin, then followed by jae, dowoon and wonpil. the last was obviously younghyun, the band's sleepyhead. everyone was still groggy from waking up, so their minds were in a blur. jae was just chilling at the sofa, sungjin was making breakfast and the maknaes were just cuddling. younghyun was making coffee for himself.

then, a 'poof' made everyone turn their heads to younghyun.

"why are you all staring at me?"

"what the fuck? younghyun, what are those?"

"what?"

jae pointed to his own head and younghyun did the same. he felt something fluffy and soft, and he thought it was his hair. but, then it twitched on top of his head. his face turned from confusion to weirded out. he continued to pat his head until he felt something pointed. he quickly put down his mug and ran to the bathroom. he locked the door and looked in the mirror. there, he saw his reflection, but with a pair of fox ears. his eyes widened in horror and shock, what is happening to him? he let out a shriek.

"WHAT IS THIS? OH MY GOD, WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?" then, someone banged the door. "younghyun-ah, open the door." judging from how strong the busan dialect is and how strict it sounds like, it was surely sungjin. he pulled at his hair, feeling distressed. suddenly, he felt something brush at his leg, and looked down. WHAT? "AAAAAAHH I HAVE A TAIL," he screamed.

"KANG YOUNGHYUN, YOU BETTER OPEN THIS DOOR," sungjin shouted. slowly, he opened the bathroom door, scared about the way the members might react. his eyes pricked, tears threatening to fall. seeing sungjin's glare, he whimpered. seeing the younger scared, sungjin's eyes became soft and he spoke with such gentleness in his voice. "younghyun, come out from the bathroom. we're not gonna hurt you or anything."

slowly, with hesitance, younghyun walked out of the bathroom, his tail in between his legs. "aAAHH HYUNG, YOU'RE SO CUTE!!" wonpil screamed and ran towards younghyun, embracing him. younghyun did not expect this kind of reaction. the hug was too tight, and younghyun had to gasp for air. dowoon, on the other hand, giggled at the sight. jae, well, he was, jae. he made a face saying what the hell happened while sungjin smiled.

although the chaos disrupted their daily morning routine, everything went by smoothly. the others got along with younghyun as usual. their manager was shocked but accepted it.

"bri, how'd you get uhh those... ears?" jae asked while they sat in the van. younghyun shrugged in response. he took out his phone and started playing games. jae couldn't help but stare at those fox ears on his best friend's head. it looked so... soft and fluffy, he wanted to pet it, he can't look away. he didn't realize it but his hand was slowly approaching younghyun's head, his fingers lacing through younghyun's hair, and he started petting. younghyun was shocked but there was this wave of pleasure washing though him.

as jae was petting younghyun, a purr emitted out of younghyun. younghyun didn't even know and leaned towards jae, but jae, he was beyond shocked. that sound, it made him shocked. he didn't know that foxes could purr. they couldn't, right?

"prrr..."

"bri."

"hmm?"

"what was that sound?"

younghyun looked at jae in confusion and tilted his head. "what sound?" "this sound," jae said and started to pet younghyun again. younghyun close his eyes and purred, leaning towards jae. when he felt his chest rumble and realised he was purring, he shot up with his eyes wide. he didn't know why it was embarrassing. his cheeks flamed, his face becoming redder every second passing. he covered his face and leaned towards the window. the other members were just minding their own business, leaving the two in their own world.

jae stared at his best friend and giggled. it was really cute. he put his arm around younghyun and ruffled his hair. "hyung, this is so embarrassing... stooooooo- prrrr... hyung!" younghyun said. jae cooed at the sight. he couldn't handle it. "aww you're so cute bri. so adorable, the ears actually suits you and so does the sound you make," jae said and winked. younghyun groaned, jae was an asshole.

younghyun was hesitant when jae started patting his head again, afraid of what noises might come out of his mouth. but it was nice, he couldn't help but lean towards jae. so they sat like that, younghyun cuddled against jae with his eyes closed, purring and jae petting his head.
