I HEAR FOOTSTEPS behind me crushing fallen leaves and breaking innocent little twigs.

I whip my head around to see Jordan, still looking sour. His dreamy, I mean uh... non dreamy hazel eyes widen when he sees me.

"Oh. Hi." he says flatly, avoiding my gaze

"Hi." I sigh

"Sorry. I'll just uh... Go." he says, turning away

"Why?" I ask

"I dunno. Louis might get suspicious." he scoffs

"Nah. You look kinda... Troubled." I say

"Do I?" he asks sarcastically

"Yes. Tell me what's wrong?" I ask

"Okay." he sighs, flopping down next to me

"What's up?" I ask

"I just... Everyone in my group thinks I'm perfect. I'm a good skater, Laura likes me, my family is rich, I'm an only child..." he trails off

"But?" I ask

"But... Mum and dad are getting a divorce and that just seems to be screwing up everything else." He says bitterly

"At least you have good friends." I say

"Don't you too?" he asks, looking at me

I just shrug in response.

I used to.

But bloody hormones, boys, makeup, celebrities and the person who makes up the classes took my friends away and replaced them with people who cake their faces and can't go two minutes without bitching about someone.

"So Cassidy, what's your problems?" he asks, facing me

I shake my head.

"I have too many to count. And I don't want to bore you." I sigh, closing my eyes and leaning against the trunk

"I won't be bored!" he protests but then the bell rings, making him groan

"Sorry. Looks like we're out of time." I say, feeling partially relieved.

But then again, it would feel good to tell someone everything. Preferably not Jordan but... Who else is really asking? Who else would want to know?

"What about tomorrow?" he asks

"Uh... What about on Friday?" I suggest

"Sure. Here at lunch?" he asks

"Yep." I say, smiling

"See you here in two days."

"Yep."

"Then you're going to rant my ear off."

"Yep."

"Cassidy!" Louis calls, waving at me as me and Jordan walk back from our spot in the trees.

"Hey!" I grin

"See you later." Jordan mumbles before disappearing

"Hello!" Louis smiles, falling into step next to me

"Hey!" I grin

It's nice to know you're liked... It's hard to explain but... just, it's nice to know you're actually wanted for a change. That the chance of you being forever alone has lessened slightly.

"So, this is your stop. I'll see you later." Louis grins, hugging my quickly and walking off

Great. Louis is gone and now I have no friends because they all hate me. Thank you Cindy and Tia.
