[ yeah pretty much... ]

*a few months later*

THROUGH MY EXPERIENCES, I've learnt a few things.

But the main thing is, don't expect things to fix themselves overnight. Because it just won't happen, ever.

Time is the beast healer, because you soon realise that, time is going to go on, and there's nothing you can do to stop it, ever.

Ultimately, your problems are just a speck on the earth and you are just a speck in the universe, less even.

So with all that in mind, as big as they may seem, your problems aren't that big and important on the scale of the universe.

But nevertheless, they haunt you every waking moment.

"I can't believe that today is the last day of year nine!" Carter comments as we walk down the halls, towards our lockers

"Yeah, I know, it's crazy, this year, it's kind of, a blur I guess. I dunno, hasn't been on rid my finest years that's for sure." I say

"Yeah, well, I feel so old." she sighs, stopping in front of her locker and starting to put the code in for the lock

"We are so old." I say

She tugs her lock open and then pull the door open and we're met my a mass of books, scrunched up papers and pens, a few falling out and showering us in paper.

"Woah..." I say, eyes widening at the sight

"I know, I need to clean it really bad!" she groans, "ugh, how did it even get like this?"

"Simple, you wanted somewhere to dump your rubbish and hey, your locker was there!" I say

"Yeah..." she sighs, "I so regret it."

"Well, it won't take you long to clean up." I say as she just grabs everything and pretty much squashes it into the bin.

"Done." she grins

"Awesome." I laugh

I walk with her to my first class, which is Math, which unfortunately, she's not in.

"See ya soon Cass!" she smiles, waving

"Bye." I say, watching her walk off

"Can you believe it's our last day of the year?" Luke asks from behind me

"I know, it's crazy." I sigh, "time passes so quickly, but also slowly at the same time."

"I know." he says, "before we know it, we'll be here, in year ten."

"God, we're all so old." I comment

"Yeah, I guess we just gotta live while we can." he shrugs

"Yeah, I guess we do." I say

-

"Well, it's our last day." Jordan says, durning the last few minutes of school for the year.

"I can't wait for the holidays." Kai groans, "this bell needs to hurry up and ring!"

I sigh.

I can certainly wait for the holidays.

Why?

Well... Because I'm worried that in the holidays, everyone will forget about me, and that I'll spend the whole time just watching everyone else have fun.

"It feels like we have so long off..." Hayden comments

"Oh well, school holidays will be over before you know it..." Carter says
