Kili's p.o.v.:
"Uncle we can't just leave her. She's one of us she must come with." I tell him looking over to Oin and Kaya as Oin is examining her

"Kili." He replied sternly

"I will carry her, if I have to! I will not leave her!"

"Kili, one day you'll understand we can not risk the fate of this quest for the sake of some sick elf. Friend or not."

Thorin Grabs my arm as I try to leave "Don't be a fool Kili you belong with the company."

"I belong with Kaya, she's sick and dying because of me. I'm going to help her," I tell him shaking off his hand

"Oin is staying with her, she doesn't need you too." He says pointing over to them

"I don't care. I'm staying and helping her."

"Kili, I will not let you throw your life away for some elf." He low whispered

"There nothing about her that could ruin my life. I...I l-love her and I will not leave her to die." I practically yell and walk-off

I walk over to Oin and Kaya, kneeling next to her "Everything will be fine Kaya, Oin will fix you."

She just looks at me. I look to see Fili coming over to us, I get up and go to meet him halfway.

"Why are you staying brother?" I asked confused

"Well can't let you get into trouble now could I." He quickly chuckles then stops "No but seriously though she did save your life. So the less I can do is help her." he puts a hand on my shoulder

I put my hand on his shoulder as well "Thank you." He nods and we walk back over to Kaya and Oin.

Soon we see the others pull into the canal and begin to paddle away. I see them smiling, waving, and bowing at the cheering people.

"Goodbye!" I hear Dori shout

We see Bofur run up the edge of the dock. "Ah! So you missed the boat as well?" Bofur asks when he sees us

"Kaya? Kaya!" Fili says as he catches her

"Oin what's happened to her?" I asked worried

Oin comes and examines her. He sighs "Relax laddie, she just passed out. Nothing too serious. She fine for now."

"Well, what do we do now."

With no real option We go back to Bard house and knock on his door, he opens his door "No. I'm done with dwarves. Go away." He says as starts to shut the door, but Bofur stops the door with his foot.

"No, no! No one will help us. Please, Kaya's sick. She is very sick. Please, won't you help her?" He pleads with him

Bard looks at Kaya who is leaning on me; half-conscious. Bard sighs and motion for us to come in. When we get inside Fili helps me set her on a bed.

"Bofur can you get me a rag and some water please?" I ask him as I sit down

"Sure thing." Bofur goes and fills a bowl with water, finds a rag, and rushes back

I thanked him and dip the rag in the water ringing it out and start wiping some sweat off her face.

She moans and slowly opens her eyes "Hu, where am I." She asks trying to move

I stop what I'm doing and take her hand in mine, brushing away a strand of her hair out of her eyes with the other. "Hey, It's alright Amrâlimê your in Bard's house. Just relax." I whisper to her

"Kili?" she whispers back

I nod smiling, but frown when she frowns shaking her head.

"You can't be him. He wouldn't have stayed. He wouldn't defy Thorin." She says sadly

"No, but I am here Kaya, it's me." I place her hand on my cheek, she raises her free hand and softly strokes my other cheek.

"No, you can't be him. he does not truly love me. He wouldn't have stayed."

"Please, Amrâlimê, you must believe I am here." I desperately plead with her, She closes her eyes and tears start to form, then her hand drops away from me as she must have passed out again

I just look at her now sleeping form shock at her last words. I know she is sick and may not mean or understand what she saying, but it still breaks my heart to hear that she thinks those things. I let go of her hand and start feeling guilt seen how this was my fault but soon I start feeling angry and confused. As I sit there letting her words sink in, watching her sleep.

"No, it's a weed. We feed it to the pigs." I hear Bard tell the others

"Pigs? Weed? Right." Bofur points at us "Don't move." With that Bofur runs out of the house in search of some plant
