Kili p.o.v:
As I start waking up, I feel something on my chest, I was about to move it but stop when I suddenly hear some light snoring. I open my eyes and look to see Kaya snuggled up to me with her head on my chest.

I smile and find myself gently running my fingers through her hair careful not to wake her. ( I wonder how long shes been here) My thoughts were interrupted by a cough. I look up to see Fili with an expression between worry and anger.

"Morning brother," I whispered

"Are you mad, Kili!" he whispered shouts "What if Thorin catches you two. I told you to avoid her Kili," He raises his arm "and here I find you two snuggling with each other. and may I add this isn't the first time I catch you two together!"

"Look, she was here when I awoke, I do not know how, why, or when this happened. So please try to relax brother." I tell him calmly

"Just get her off you Kili, I'll make sure uncle doesn't come over here." He says walking off

After he leaves I look down and see Kaya is still fast asleep I smile seeing how peaceful she looks. "Kaya, Kaya, time to wake up," I whisper lightly shaking her. She doesn't move, so I try shaking her a little harder.

"Come on Aingeal (angel) it's time to get up." She just snuggles closer to me. I sigh realize this isn't working, so I decided instead id try to gently sit up making sure not to hurt her, and then somehow quietly pick her up and set her on the bedroll. Covering her with a blanket, gently placing a kiss on her forehead before getting up and trying to find the others. I find Bofur standing alone staring at where I left Kaya to sleep with a smile on his face.

"Good Morning Bofur," I say walking up to him

"Aye, that it is Lad." He replies

"May I ask what you and Kaya talked about last night?"

"You may, but I'll not tell you."

"Why is it something bad?" I asked confused

"Nah, it's nothing, bad Laddie. It's just I promise Kaya I wouldn't tell anyone is all. She'll tell you when she's ready. Now how about we let her sleep and get some breakfast."

I nod as we walk up to a table the others and Gandalf are already seated at the table. The man called Beorn pours milk from a pitcher into Fili's cup. I smile at Fili sitting next to him.

"Where is Kaya?" Bilbo asked as we sit down

"She still sleeping laddie," Bofur tells him

"And why may I ask, did no one wake her?" Thorin asks

"She seemed to need it Thorin. So I let her sleep." I tell him

"No, go wake her. I will not hear her complain later, she's no different than us. Go wake her." He tells me

I Nod, leaving the table to wake her.

Kaya's p.o.v.:
I feel someone lightly shaking me awake while whispering "Kaya, Kaya Amrâlimê, it's time to get up."

I groaned baring my face into my bedroll "five more minutes Kee, please. " I mumble

I hear him chuckle "Sorry Can't let you, Thorin says I've let you sleep longer than I should have, he says you have to get up now."

I sit up and yawn "Oh Alright I'm up."

Soon he takes me to where everyone is and they're sitting around a large table. when we walk over I see a man that is taller the Gandalf standing at the head of the table. [So this is what Beorn looks like as a man.]

"You need to reach the mountain before the last days of autumn?" Beorn asks

"Before Durin's Day falls, yes." Gandalf answers

"You are running out of time." Beorn points out

"Which is why we must go through Mirkwood."

"A darkness lies upon that forest. Fell things creep beneath those trees. There is an alliance between the Orcs of Moria and the Necromancer in Dol Guldur. I would not venture there except in great need." Beorn informs him

"We will take the Elven Road. That path is still safe."

"Safe? The Wood-Elves of Mirkwood are not like their kin. They're less wise and more dangerous. But it matters not."

"What do you mean?" Thorin asks

"These lands are crawling with Orcs. Their numbers are growing, and you are on foot. You will never reach the forest alive."

Thorin looks shocked. Beorn stands up from the table and faces Thorin.

"I don't like dwarves. They're greedy and blind, blind to the lives of those they deem lesser than their own." He picks up a mouse that had been scampering on the table and holds it, all the while approaching Thorin. "But Orcs I hate more. What do you need?"

Thorin tells Beorn what we need for the journey. Beorn agreed to give us what we need as long as we leave after.

"Gather your things. we leave as soon as the supplies are gathered." Thorin informed us
