My night has become
a sunny dawn because of you,
dreams that turn to reality
wishes that do come true.
My day has become
a dusky twilight because of you,
honey seeps into your words
taking away my bitter blues.
Every moment, every breath
all I can ever think of is you,
broken heart of mine you fixed
bringing in a hope so new.
Second chances are rare to find
destiny brought me closer to you,
fates interconnected forever
memories, I'll always value.
Heartbeats in sync, now and then
pulsating veins, emotions askew,
coming back meant no love lost
for babe, I do still love you.
