I sit beside the window,
Daring to get soaked,
The bus driving over bumpy roads,
Making me jump like a toad.Seeing the droplets roll by,
It makes me hard to see,
People rushing to get shelter
Their happiness turning to glee. The blurred images,
Seem to create a mystery,
beautiful mountains passing by,
A part of our rich history.I open the window
feeling the drops on my face
Cold breeze gushing by
Blowing at a steady pace.Isn't it beautiful?
I suddenly blurt out
The rains? Or you?
I get the soft replyI turn around
To see my lover smiling
Blushing profusely
I reply smilingThe world I meant
Made beautiful with rains
Look at the beauty
Of the passing terrains. His intense gaze on me,
he smiled
Looking at me lovingly,
he repliedAnd what if I say
That you're my pride
More beautiful
Than the world outside? The rains continued
Splashing their way
But the love in his eyes
Surely made my day.I leaned onto him
And he did the same
Both of us entangled
While it continued to rain. And this is why
I love the rains
For it brings out
Love sans pain.Cherish this moment
It won't come again
True love and true beauty
Brought out by the rains.****************
