Chapter 4: exploration (readers advised as this is deep)

Y: uh hi....

you say startled at the sight of Colby shirtless while waiting for me. you still had the clothes on from yesterday

C: hey! I hope you don't mind, I didn't want to go looking through your things so I let you sleep here

Y: y-yeah its fine, uh we still okay for today?

C: of course we are, were going to the suicide bridge, if ur okay with it?

Y: yeah I'm fine, I mean I have you there with me

you blush and look down at your feet

C: you're right!

we laugh a bit and then he asks

C: do you want something to eat?

Y: um sure, got any more apples?

C: well of course, I love apples so here.

he grabs an apple from out of the fruit bowl and hands it to you

Y: why thankyou. hey do you think we could go over to mine? I need to do some stuff

C: yeah sure, after that can we talk about last night

you were a bit nervous when he said that but you two head over to your mansion of a place, you unlock your door and head to you bed room, Colby waits in the lounge room patiently for you to come back down

you get dressed and head to the kitchen only to find him sitting at the bench, you had your medication in your hand and he still didn't know about it and you weren't planning on telling him what its for

C: what's that in you hand?

yet you decided to be honest with him yet it was deep you take a deep breath and tell him

Y: um..... okay, it's actually anti-depression medication, I take it because of things that have happened in the past but I really don't want to talk about right now, sorry

C: no its okay, you're still beautiful to me

you smile as he walks up to you and gives you a hug, you guys stay there for a couple minutes and then you break the hug so you could put on your vans and grab your camera so you could start vlogging

Y: hey hey guys welcome back to my channel on another special day as I will be going to do suicide bridge later tonight with my new friends and neighbours Sam and Colby, if you don't know them go check out their channels which will be linked down below. anyway I will see you guys later tonight PEACE!

you turn the camera and you two went back to next door.

*SIX HOURS LATER*

the sun was going down so you, Sam, Colby, Corey Devyn and kat all decide to head off to the bridge, your terrified because you get an earie vibe that was unusual to you. you guys get to the spot and you the girls decide not to touch the board. you didn't like the bridge for a reason that no one else knew.

the boys start to play the board and then Sam asks

S: who would you like to talk to?

you were really hoping it wasn't you because of what happened to your brother.

the board spelt out your name anyway

C: uh y/n? it wants you...

tears start to fall down your cheek, you don't say anything and walk up to the board place your fingers on the planchet and quiver

Y: hey Brody

C: Brody?

the board spells out

'hi y/n'

more tears fall down your face and you ask about your brothers DOB.

Y: when were we born?

and the board spells

'25/09/01'

Y: oh my god

more tears stream down your face as the day is correct and then Corey asks

CO: who's Brody?

Y: my twin brother

S: wait what?!

Y: h-he committed suicide three years ago today

D: wait but today is you and your brothers birthday?

Y: we had a lot of problems with our family growing up making him very depressed causing him to do what he did

the board started spelling something

'I'm so sorry y/n'

Y: its okay cause I know your probably in a better place now, but happy birthday dude..... I-I miss y-you so much

tears start to poor down your face again because you missed him so much

C: y/n I'm so sorry

Y: if only I stopped him. It's okay Colby. Can we go Brody? I'll be back here in a couple weeks I promise

the board moved to yes, you all said goodbye and went on your way. you didn't realise but you didn't vlog anything.

you all got back to the car and you fell to your knees and broke into tears

K: shit! y/n are you okay?!

Colby turned around and ran to your aid, he sat next to you and held you.

C: hey, hey, hey y/n its okay he's okay

Y: we came here for our birthday, we went to Tender greens three years ago and he decided to go for a walk, I should've went with him, I SHOULD'VE STOPPED HIM!

K: y/n there was nothing you could do but you tried your hardest right?

Y: yeah

you wipe the tears away and hop in the car and head home, but you weren't expecting the next thing to happen.....
