Chapter 3: the date

As you were sitting there a girl walked up to you saying

G: hey baby

Colby rolled his eyes looked at her

C: hi Katie.... 

K: what are you doing hun?

C: I'm not your "hun" first of all and second I'm out with my neighbor

She looked you up and down as you were eating and sat down next to colby 

K: well if shes only a friend then she won't mind if i do this

you look up ad you see her kiss him on the lips, you get up and walk out because you felt a connection with him that you have never felt with anyone else. You start walking to the car, you nearly reach it, at this point you have tears running down your face and then you hear

C: y/n wait please! 

you keep walking and end up walking to the street

C: y/n please, I'm not in a relationship with her

you stop yourself and turn around, you wipe your face and look at him

Y: then what was it?! because it seemed like something to me. you know what? I'm completely  fucking with myself right now so I'm  just gonna go home.

before you could walk off you see that bitch come out

K: what did you expect? a hottie like him to go out with a girl like you? HA! 

at this point the tears were streaming down your face 

Y: you're right.

you run off before Colby could say anything 

*COLBY'S POV*

C: you're honestly a bitch Katie, she is my NEW NEIGHBOR!

I walk to my car and take off leaving Katie behind. I go looking for y/n as it's cold and her jumper is in the car. I felt so furious because I let this happen, I let her run, I let Katie kiss me.

its been two hours, its now 8:00 pm and I'm by the lake, I have tears running down my face. I look over at one of the park benches and i see her sitting there, cold and upset.

*END OF POV*

C: y/n?

You look up and see the same face you saw when you were moving boxes. it was Colby, tears start to pick up and you are shaking because of the cold. Colby sat down beside you and you rested your head on him.

His warmth was comforting, then all of a sudden you feel an arm wrap around your shoulder.

Y: I'm sorry Col-

C: it's okay y/n i shouldn't of let any of this happen

you look at him, you could see the trail of where his tears went. you and Colby were looking at each other for a couple of minutes then he wiped your tears away, his hands were on your face and you were sitting millimeters away from each other.

you look down and then look up to stare into his eyes, those dreamy ocean eyes, you could feel he was pulling you closer slow, out of no where he kissed you and you kissed him back. it was a long compassionate kiss. you break the kiss and cuddle up to him more, you manage to fall asleep in the warm grasp of Colby Brock.

*COLBY'S POV*

She fell asleep so I decided to take her home, I didn't want to go looking through her stuff for her keys so i let her have my bed for the night, I didn't really sleep that night cause i wanted to make sure she was safe.

the next day I woke up with her in my arms. I decided to get up as quite as I could and i managed to get up and put on a new pair of pants without making too much noise

*END OF POV*

you wake up without Colby with you so you decided to get up and see if he was down stairs and he was.
