A girl such as I
To live with you would rather die
A city girl as me
Isn’t fazed when you beg and plea
This is where I stand
As you ask me for my hand
You are down on one knee
As I secretly wish you were stung by a bee
Even with a gorgeous bed
Never will I lay my head
On such a pathetic mess
Do I like you? Take a guess
No matter how much I’m flattered
Never shall I love you, even if you shattered
I am so frustrated and full of anger
You live in nothing but a tiny manger
Once again I will tell you
You are as boring to me as the morning dew
The city is where my love will stay
All night and all day
Sadly for you I love a man
A brilliant wedding is in plan
I shall not move
To be you sheep watching love
