My friends what a joke
They just wanted what they couldn’t have
They wanted more, they wanted me
From the corner of their eyes they would stare
Steal a menacing glance
My boyfriend was a nothing, a no-one
He wanted my friends, my popularity,
He wanted it all and me
The rat the scoundrel
The devilish tramp
He tried, he won, but for what?
Untrustworthy friends
Who easily turned on me
The ones who betrayed one trustworthy
Betray the one who helped them rise
The one who helped them understand
What they could not
The one forever nothing more but trouble
For them who crossed my path
Watch your back
For I’ll be there to watch you fail
With the life I built for you
The one I once loved
The one I trusted
The one who needs to be forever careful
