Do you ever dedicate time to reflect upon the episode narrating when Jesus died on the cross? Do you know that when Jesus died on the cross, He nailed all our sins to the cross and set us free?
Jesus died on the cross because He loves you. He embraced the cross out of love to set you free from all sins, to set you free from your lack of faith... He is Jesus, the Son of God.
When Jesus embraced the cross, He was embracing you, embracing the same cross you carry in your daily life. The daily cross you carry in your life, is 'lighter' to carry if you trust in Him.
We are to be another Jesus in our life, by being Jesus to others. Embracing our cross in our life, through the grace and love of Jesus, is one way of being Jesus to others.
Embracing our cross is embracing Jesus.
