This is a great drink for spring or holidays, it tastes really great and I should add yeah this one is really good. Recommend.. By the way there will be two examples of doing the recipe the first one is better for me. And of course this can suit anybody.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of milk
1 tbs of sugar (optional if you want more add more!)
1 tbs of pimpkin puree
1 teaspoon of spice pumpkin spice pie
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/4 brewed expresso
Whisk 1/2 cup milk, sugar, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract in a small saucepan over low heat. Simmer for 5 minutes. Whisk in remaining 1/2 cup milk. Pour milk mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove pulp. Return milk mixture to saucepan and simmer, whisking, 2 minutes. Add espresso and whisk until foamy, 1 minute.
Add whipped cream and spice pumpkin pie. This one is better for me.
And the second way:
2 tablespoons canned pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, plus more to garnish
Freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
2 cups whole milk
1 to 2 shots espresso, about 1/4 cup
1/4 cup heavy cream, whipped until firm peaks form
Heat the pumpkin and spices. Medium heat until it smells cooked. Stir in the sugar until it bubbles.
Whisk in the milk and vanilla extract. Warm gently over medium heat, watching carefully to make sure it doesn't boil over. Blend the milk until it looks frothy and of course blended. Make the espresso or coffee and divide between two mugs and add the frothed milk. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, or nutmeg if desired.
