Eleanor places the card to the side and swept her legs off the hospital bed.
A knock by the door interrupted her movement. She look to Max first and his reaction was surprised as he stared at the doorway. Eleanor turned her head toward the direction of the noise.
Louis Tomlinson stood. Comfortable white joggers on and a toddler in one arm holding 'Get Well' balloons and a small teddy.
"This isn't much, but is there anyway we can rekindle this relationship soon El?" Eleanor felt the smile on her face widen. She couldn't be happier with her ending.
"Of course."
