Waking up from all the things that happened yesterday just makes me go nuts, hindi ko alam kung maniniwala ba akong totoo yung mga nangyari at nangyayari sa akin ngayon.

"You're up early," I heard a groggy voice told me as I looked at my right, seeing na si Dingdong pala yung nagsabi sakin non. I smiled and nodded, "I usually wake up at 7..."

"I completely remember that you wake up at around... maybe 10? 11? I don't know." Dingdong said tapos nilagay niya yung dalawa niyang kamay sa likod ng ulo niya. "Maybe it's because you always come home late," His words made me knit my brows.

"Huh?" I asked him. "Yeah, siguro nga kasi madalas kang late umuwi. I know na hindi mo naaalala but Karylle, you do come home late," he paused and looked at me. "..always."

My brows were still furrowed, what is he talking about? Parang may gusto siyang sabihin saakin but he keeps on telling some... I don't know what to call it, clues? Clues ba ang tamang word para don?

"Don't be so serious, hon. Good morning." he said while smiling then kissed my cheek. I chuckled lightly, not a real laugh but... maybe a fake one?

"Yeah uhm... good morning din." I said while pursing my lips. Dingdong smiled and laughed a bit, "Wala ka namang masyadong gagawin ngayon, right?" he asked me.

I nodded, "Well... I believe na sa bahay lang ako for the whole day." Maybe hanggang bukas... kasi hindi oo naman alam kung anong schedule ko. And knowing that my best frie-former best friends are working for me ay nakakapanghinayang at nakakahiyang pumasok.

Galit sila sa akin, pero hindi ko naman alam yung dahilan!

"Next week, I think? Papasok ka na." he said then smiled. "Anyway, natanong ko kasi I'm free today. I really want to spend my time with you, hon." he said while smiling. I smiled at him, "Well we can." I afforded to say.

"Then it's settled!" he said while smiling.

But then his phone rang, making me look a bit at his phone na nagvi-vibrate sa may table sa tabi ng kama namin.

"I'll just... I'll just check this one, hon." he said then quickly checked it. I cannot really read his expression, may part na nagsasabing masaya siya, may part na nagsasabing kinakabahan siya, may part na nagsasabing-hay ewan!

"Uhm... hindi ko alam kung paano ko sasabihin. I don't even know where to start..." he told me. I just gave him a small smile, "Just tell me. What is it all about?" tinanong ko siya, na para bang excited sa sasabihin niya when the truth is, I'm really really curious about that text.

"My...my secretary just called me and she told me na may emerency meeting with the board. Plus a shoot for my new project, uhm.. a-ako kasi yung cover ng isang magazine eh." he said, stuttering bit.

I just nodded slowly, "It's completely fin-" "Talaga? Thank you hon, I promise I'll make it up to you." he said then kissed my cheek as he quickly went inside the bathroom.

"...fine." I uttered, finishing my sentence kahit na nasa CR na siya.

"Kamusta naman po yung kape, ma'am Karylle?" Glenda asked me. "Okay lang po ba yung lasa? Hindi naman po ba masyadong matamis? Kulang po ba sa gatas? Dadagdagan ko pa po ba ng-"

"Guys, loosen up!" I said, cutting Inday off. Kasi ever since nung bumaba ako, nakatingin sila saakin like they're really worried.

"Okay yung kape, kayo ba? Okay lang ba kayo?" tinanong ko sila while chuckling. I just find it really amusing that 2 women are very worried about the coffee that they served for me.
