"Ma'am Karel, ang bilis niyo naman ho? Parang mga 30 minutes lang kayo nag-stay dun."

Umiling ako kay Ernie, "Just take me home Ernie, masama ang pakiramdam ko." I uttered while getting inside car, inunahan na siya kasi alam kong ipagbubukas pa ako ng pintuan niyan. "Uhm, o sige ho ma'am." Ernie said while scratching the back of his neck as he turned on the engine.

Taking a deep breath, I just can't manage to hear every single bullcrap that Vice told me a while ago. I'm freaking sure that he's lying. I don't even know him that much! Oo, napa-nga nga niya ako kanina when he comforted me but... telling me that we have this kind of secret relationship? Impossible.

One of the reasons why I think this is impossible is first, I'm pretty sure that me and Dingdong are happy together. Second, he looks like the kind of guy who dates pretty bimbos in the street. Third, we obviously don't match together. And last, it's just unbelievable! Hindi kapani-paniwala.

As my phone vibrated, I grabbed my phone and read the messages.

Vice: Please believe me... maniwala ka saakin. Do you think Ill tell you this kung hindi naman totoo? What for?

Vice (2): Reply K, please. Alam kong nagulat but if you'll just let me meet you up and talk about it, baka makatulong sa sitwasyon natin.

Vice (3): Come on K, don't tell me you're gonna stick up with that bulky dude!

I shut my eyes, stop texting me. Hindi ko naman siya ma-replyan kasi alam kong lalaki lang at hahaba lang ang paguusap namin kung sasagutin ko pa yung mga nonsense niyang text messages saakin. I kept gripped on my phone habang sinandal ko yung ulo ko sa gilid ng bintana.

As I was just looking at the view, biglang tumunog ulit yung phone ko.

Vice: Okay, alam kong nabasa mo na yung mga text ko sayo but... nevermind. Just always remember that I love you and I don't care kung hindi mo ako paniwalaan. I love you.

I groaned lightly, this is driving me nuts! Kakalabas ko lang mg ospital and this is happening! Kanina okay pa eh, but now, thinking and knowing that I have an affair with a guy who always listens to music and wears leather jackets?

Stop thinking about it. Stop thinking about it.

"You wanna know? You wanna fucking know huh?! I got this when we were enjoying the time of our lives. I got this after we shared our most passionate kiss as we were watching the sunset. I got this when we almost-no, not almost, when we completely forgot about our fucking lives! You see Karylle, we love each other." he paused and looked at me as his face softened.

"....I love you."

I snorted out a laugh, "Didn't know na writer ka din pala. Even better, an author. Anong klaseng speech yan huh, Vice?" I asked him seriously. Vice groaned lightly, "Kaya ayokong sabihin eh! Hindi mo papaniwalaan!" "Well ofcourse I won't! I'm married!" I snapped back.

Vice bit his bottom lip and looked down, then back at me. "Just....just hear me out, will you?" Taking a deep and long breath, I slowly nodded. "Fine."

"K, I wouldn't call it as an "affair", I would call it... a forbidden relationship. K, we were best friends, like pals and stuffs. We met at a bar, you were kind of wasted kaya inuwi na kita. Pero walang nangyari," he paused and looked at me as he continued. "The next morning, all I know is you're opening up to me, telling me that you're having a hard time with your husband."
