Heyo!
Ha, I just realized that the chapter before this was called "the note". Fitting.
Sorry, my humor. Moving on!
I wanted to let you guys know why I decided to discontinue Kendall & Me.
I started this story on a whim, and with each chapter, it became clearer and clearer that I had no idea what I was doing or where I was going. I wasn't feeling connected to Isabel, and I think that had a lot to do with the fact that it felt like she wasn't really the one making the decisions (this may not feel true to you--I haven't looked at this in centuries--but it's how it was appearing to me). This story was fun to write, but ultimately turned stressful and, as time went on, I had to force myself to continue.
I haven't given up on the premise. However, as the story stands, I will need to ultimately restart from scratch--learning who I'm writing about and what exactly their journey will be. And while I do hope to come back to it someday, there are a number of other works that have taken center stage. I didn't want to keep people's hopes up with the on hold status.
I hope you guys understand. Thank you for your continuous patience and support!
LOVE YOU, LOVELIES
Ashley
