SECOND ACT: PIECE ONE


they met within the ungodly hours of softly lit, secluded ramen stalls beneath glassy night skies in unknown state of minds. chasms blossomed like spring honey buttercups beneath their feet as they indulged in the cosmic matter consuming their minds: she peeled back his milky skin like rotten tangerines, cracked open his ivory skull to watch the pomegranates just tumble out! questions of existence, endless wonders lingering on his lips ( lips which / worshipped the milky way constellations upon her cheekbones / when pressed to hers, burned like icarus to apollo). cause this boy was the sun, otherworldly radiance scorched her midnight sky skin for her to drown in an ocean of wax & tears. her lips which swept against his planet dusted collarbones as naked angels ran amok within their veins.

see venus ( a beauty that ran deeper than the flesh ) was enamored with the sun. yet doesn't loving a god always end in tragedy?
